Lindsey and Justin are Engaged

On Sunday we headed to downtown Chattanooga for Justin and Lindsey’s engagement session. Justin is my brother-in-law and Alysa and I are so excited to welcome Lindsey into the family. They are getting married in June up in Michigan (nearly Canada) and I have the honor of being their photographer and honorary groomsman.
They are getting married on June 22. I thought this numbered parking spot on the asphalt was a cool way to show what day their wedding is.
The bright sun and limited clouds caused some interesting lighting issues, but isn’t the sky awesome?!
Kelli Jo and Danny Engagement

On Sunday we drove up to Rome, GA and met in the historic district on Broad Street for Kelli Jo and Danny’s engagement session. Then, we took a lunch break at the largest Moe’s we’ve ever seen and then made our way over to Berry College, which is a gorgeous campus. We are so excited to be shooting their wedding in July at the Calhoun SDA Church. This was the first opportunity that we had to meet each of them after many phone conversations working on wedding plans, so we were excited to get to know them both. It turned out to be a very lovely day, although it was a little bit cold and windy for a photo shoot. They did a great job of staying warm and looking great in their photos. They are definitely very much in love and we enjoyed watching them together throughout the day.

Megan and Justin are Engaged

We are so happy for Justin and Megan and their upcoming wedding on June 22. Even though we aren’t available to shoot their wedding, we were fortunate enough to do their engagement session. We went to the beautiful Georgia Tech campus and the warehouse district in downtown Atlanta and found some great locations and had a great time hanging out with our good friends.
I’ve started doing headshots at the end of engagement sessions. Here are a few of my favorites.
As we were leaving Georgia Tech, we walked passed this convex parking mirror and grabbed a cool portrait of them and managed to sneak ourselves into the shot.
Michelle and Larry are Married!

Yesterday was Michelle & Larry’s wedding and it was a spectacular event! We had a great time with them and they are truly in love. We are so happy for them and will pray for many blessings for them.
I got back to the hotel room last night and enjoyed going through some of the images, although I didn’t get to examine all 2600 of them I did find a few that I wanted to share first.
Michelle is sitting on Larry’s beloved VW Jetta. The groomsmen had a great time converting it into a newspaper mache and Michelle thought it was hilarious so she went over and posed on the hood.
