Headshots for Martin Young

May 28, 2008 | Category: Portraits | Leave a Comment

This post is really late, and I’ve been meaning to get this up and I’m finally getting to it.Martin Young is a singer from Chattanooga, TN and he took an afternoon and came down to Atlanta to have some portraits taken to use in his music ministry. It was great to get to know Martin and learn about his ministry. He also needed new portraits because he is going to be a guest performer on the Morning Song eStore Music Cruise in 2009, a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise featuring nightly Christian music concerts.

Thanks again Martin for coming down. It was a pleasure to meet you.

Stacy and Louis Maternity Session

May 26, 2008 | Category: Maternity | 1 Comment

One more maternity session this Memorial Day weekend, this time with our good friends Louis and Stacy Licht. Alysa went to college with these two fantastic people and our shoot was about as relaxed and fun as it gets. Little Asher Scott is going to be one loved little man! We love you two and can’t wait to take pictures of your son in a month or so!

Sunday we met up with our new friends Lauren and Aaron. We shot in the flowering fields around their home and then made our way to Red Clay Park. We had a blast and, as you can tell, laughed alot! We can’t wait to meet little Samantha and hope to be able to photograph her soon! Congratulations, you two!

Maria Sue Chapman (2003-2008)

May 22, 2008 | Category: Personal | Leave a Comment

Steven Curtis Chapman is one of my all-time favorite musicians and song writers. I learned today of a tragic accident that killed his daughter Maria. My heart hurts for them right now and my prayers go out to the entire Chapman family. I don’t know how I would handle something like this and I’m not even a father.

You can read the Star-Telegram article here.

Here is a video clip of Maria and her dad washing dishes that I found on the “In Memory of Maria” blog. Maria was obviously loved and cherished.
