Lela Joy Newborn Sessions

I heart Lela Joy. This little one couldn’t be more of our true niece and we couldn’t be more proud. In just the first week of her life, Matt and Joey have acted like parental pros and are so proud to show her off and let those they love share in her. Matt and Joey, you’ve done a fantastic job making this one! We hope our future child has a chance to be this cute…and this small!

If you look closely on the right, you’ll see Lela’s 9-day notch on her beautiful tree growth chart by Miss Rachel Komorowski.

We were thrilled to be there the first time Lela really let the spit-up fly on her new dad. Welcome to parenthood, Matt. Not that we’d know.

And, of course, the baby stealer strikes again. You’ll want to keep an eye on that baby, guys.

Matt and Joey welcomed the newest member of their family into the world on August 15. Upon hearing the news that Joey was going into labor, we jumped in the car and drove up to Chattanooga to meet her within the first 24 hours of her existence.
We will be going back soon to do the official newborn session, but here’s a sneak peek of Lela.

Michelle and Stephen are Married!
August 17, 2008 | Category: Weddings | 6 Comments
Michelle and Stephen were married last Sunday on August 10 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Stephen is a pastor and most of his church members filled the cute chapel and left standing room only. I had a great time with Stephen and Michelle and was able to see some family and old friends while I was there. I shot Stephen’s best man’s wedding back in May of 2007 and it was cool to have Joel and Kristy there. The weather brought a little rain in the morning and scattered it throughout the day, but it didn’t cause any problems for the wedding day, and that was a blessing.
I am so honored to have been there for my friend Stephen’s wedding and I’m thrilled with the decision he made to marry Michelle. I pray for many, many prosperous and happy years for them together. It was obvious throughout the weekend and ceremony that they will put God first in their marriage and their lives – they can’t go wrong with that combination. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Carlile!
