I thought I’d throw our newest newspaper ad on the blog for all to see. We think it’s pretty worth seeing- thanks to the hotness of some awesome clients- Paige and Ryan. You can see their wedding post here.

We’d like to introduce our wonderful clients and blog-readers to one of our new favorite websites – www.weddingchicks.com! Amy Squires and Jocey Canrinus put their wedding expertise together to create the Wedding Chicks – a site dedicated to brides with STYLE. They work all week long to bring you inspiration, resources and advice on making the biggest day of your life both stress-free and uber-chic. (By the way, this is Alysa doing this post. Alan, of course, doesn’t say things like “uber-chic.” But he does love the Wedding Chicks!)
I’ve now spent WAAAY too much time browsing their awesome site, especially for one who is already married and can give it two rousing thumbs UP!
**And on top of all of that, check out the Georgia section and see who is a preferred photography vendor! That’s right- it’s us! Thank you, Amy and Jocey! We wish you the greatest success and even more traffic on that terrific site of yours!
Wedding Dress for Sale

A friend of mine is selling her wedding dress that has never been worn, other than just trying it on. She bought it before her wedding but then decided to go with a different dress for her wedding. I thought that I could help her sell it here on my blog. Please leave a comment on this post if you’re interested. She’s selling this dress for $1,400 – I can accept cash, check, or credit card via PayPal or Google Checkout.
This unique San Patrick (Pronovias) dress is straight from Spain and never worn. 2007 Collection- Halter-style, drop-waist, off-white hand-made Spanish lace, extra long (bride is 6′-0″, but could be taken in at most alterations shops), gorgeous detail. SEE PHOTO GALLERY FOR DETAIL PHOTOS OF THE DRESS.
The dress is a size 18 – Please see San Patrick or Pronovias sizing chart. Brides often wear a much smaller “street” clothing size than wedding dress size. Please note that I found this chart on the internet and am not responsible for its accuracy. Pronovias size chart: http://netbride.com/exclude/sizecharts/pronovias.htm

The Salyers Family

Our very good friends Jason and Mindy emailed us a week or so before Christmas and asked us if we were available for a family portrait session. We, of course, said “YES, we’d love to!” This session was cool because it was a Christmas gift to Jason’s parents and they were also in town to be in the photos. When we got back from our Christmas vacation, we drove over to their home and spent a couple of hours taking some photos inside and outside in the rainy drizzle. We had a great time with them and here are a few of our favorites.

This would be Farley. He definitely helped keep things loose!

Let’s go for a ride!
