Lela Joy Newborn Sessions

I heart Lela Joy. This little one couldn’t be more of our true niece and we couldn’t be more proud. In just the first week of her life, Matt and Joey have acted like parental pros and are so proud to show her off and let those they love share in her. Matt and Joey, you’ve done a fantastic job making this one! We hope our future child has a chance to be this cute…and this small!

If you look closely on the right, you’ll see Lela’s 9-day notch on her beautiful tree growth chart by Miss Rachel Komorowski.

We were thrilled to be there the first time Lela really let the spit-up fly on her new dad. Welcome to parenthood, Matt. Not that we’d know.

And, of course, the baby stealer strikes again. You’ll want to keep an eye on that baby, guys.

You are not a baby stealer, you just borrow! Great pics as always and you really have the personal side to these, which makes for great memories.

That is a great shot of Matt learning why we need spit up rags!

I love the first shot in the series, it is an amazing shot. I love how the baby’s face embodies how the child must feel about entering this world. For the first few months of life its been in a fairly dark, simple world, when all of a sudden it is thrust out into bright lights and chaos. Yet this small moment shows that the world maybe a scary place, but the child is still curious and ready to face it.
Good work on the rest of it too.

Love these pictures. She is so tiny and cute. I really love how you included the spit up picture because that is certainly part of their lives right now : )
